あらすじ
第二次大戦中のイタリア。人体改造によって最強の兵士を生み出そうとするナチス・ドイツはある少年を実験台に計画を実行に移す。ヒトラーの野望に危機感を抱いたアメリカ合衆国政府は、ナチスから亡命したヴァセリ博士の下で極秘に超人兵士計画を推進、志願者の中から選ばれたスティーヴ・ロジャース(マット・サリンジャー)を”キャプテン・アメリカ”へと改造した。

キャプテン・アメリカは果敢にレッド・スカルに挑むが力及ばず、ホワイトハウス攻撃用のロケットに縛り付けられてしまう。だが決死の覚悟で軌道を変更、ロケットはアラスカへと墜落する。
そして1990年代、生き延びたレッド・スカルは裏社会の王として君臨していた。同じ頃、アラスカの氷の中で眠り続けていたキャプテン・アメリカが、50年の永い眠りから目覚めようとしていた……。
